General Information and Rules
We are proud to present our first annual Kids Triathlon race!
The kids' race will feature two separate courses from which each kid racer and their family can choose: a
long course (3 lap swim, 3 mile bike, and 1.5 mile run) and a short course (1 lap swim, 2 mile bike, and
1 mile run). The kids' race will not be timed so we encourage everyone, ages 6 - 12 that is, to join us for
this exciting race!
The short course racers will begin first. Also, the night before the race we will hold a "course
orientation" meeting during which time all kid racers and their family can come to the Wasilla Pool to
preview the course.
Here is a quick overview of the schedule of events for the Kids' Race on the day of the race:
- 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM - all kid racers must check in (in the race prep area) and set up their transition area
- 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM - mandatory Kids' Race meeting (next to the pool entrance in the race prep area)
- 3:00 PM - Kids' Race starts
Just as with the Adult Triathlon we are comitted to providing a safe and fun race for each racer so please
review the rules before the day of the race to ensure you are familiar with the course and so you know
what to expect on race day. (click here for the Rules and additional race information)
